My firewall is blocking the Albelli Photo books software, what should I do?

In order to protect your computer, most software programs are routinely blocked by the Windows firewall. To be able to order something from Albelli, you have to grant the photobook software access to the internet. We have instructions for how to achieve this for these versions of Windows:

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8

It could be that your computer has additional programs providing internet security besides Windows Firewall. If that is the case, please give Albelli Photo books permission to connect to the internet. You can use the manual to your internet security program for this.

Windows XP

  1. With your mouse, left click ‘Start’, ‘All Programs’ and then right click ‘Albelli Photo books’. Left click ‘Properties’.
  2. In the dialog box ‘Properties’, go to the tab ‘Shortcuts’. Right click the section marked ‘Target’ and left click ‘Copy’.
  3. With this, you have copied the location of the Albelli program to your clipboard.
  4. Left click ‘Cancel’ to close the dialog box ‘Properties’.
  5. Go to ‘Start’ and proceed to open the ‘Control Panel’.
