Albumprinter second in Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA
Amsterdam, 26 November 2008 – Albumprinter BV, mother organisation of albelli, won second place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA. Albumprinter is the second fastest growing technology company in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 500-award was held for the ninth time. Albumprinter is one of the largest producers of photo books worldwide. In October Albumprinter won the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 as the fastest growing technology company of the Netherlands.
Albumprinter, mother organisation of consumer brand albelli (www.albelli.co.uk) realised almost 22.000 percent growth in the past 5 years and it is forecasting substantial growth for the future. The company is producing personlised printed photo books, diaries and calendars. In 2008 Albumprinter is expecting a revenue of 22 million pounds. Approximately 6 percent of UK households did order a photo book through the internet, in the Netherlands this percentage is slightly higher. A huge potential market is still to be developed. Albumprinter did introduce its consumer label, albelli, in the UK in March 2009. Albelli is active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA is an annual returning election of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The selection is based on the growth percentage over the past 5 years (2003 – 2007). The participants can originate from the public and private sector and should include technology segments for example software, internet, biotech/life sciences, computers/peripherals,semi-conductors, communication tools/networks and media/entertainment.

In August 2008 the products of Albumprinter came out as “best” tested by the Digital Guide of the Dutch consumer association. In October 2008 Albumprinter also came out as “best” tested by PCM (Personal Computer Magazine) in the Netherlands.
