Cropping photos
Tip for: download version photo book program With the photo book program you can cut your photos to size. Crop the photo to use only the best part. This allows you to emphasise a specific detail or remove something that detracts from an otherwise good photo. With tricks like these you can make your photo book perfect! How does it work? Double-click a photo while making a photo book. This takes you to the 'Edit image' screen. Click the 'Crop' toolbar button. Now choose one of the cropping options. You can choose a selection with fixed proportions or determine the dimensions of the cropped area yourself. You change the size of the selection frame by dragging the edges (dashed line). Click 'Apply action' on the toolbar to cut out the selection and 'Save and return' to place the selection on the page. You make your page even more whimsical by cropping with an ellipse or a free form shape. To do so, choose 'Cut out free form' and draw a figure with your mouse. Place the cut out over a transparent photo to achieve an even more powerful effect.
